We had a fantastic stay at this hostel. The owner was extremely friendly and made sure we were happy throughout our stay. The hostel was very clean and well-maintained. They provided free snacks and water in the fridge, which was a nice touch. The laundry service was also free, which was very convenient. The location was great, with lots of activities and the popular Zoe in Yellow nearby. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, and even gave us a welcome gift.
Couldn't fault this hostel.

The double room at Phukhao Hostel was amazing! It had a cozy seating area where I could relax and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee from the convenient maker. The air conditioning was a lifesaver in the hot Chiang Mai weather. Plus, I loved the free in-room WiFi which kept me connected throughout my stay.
I wish the double room had its own private bathroom instead of a shared one. But hey, that's just my personal preference.

I recently stayed at a hostel in Chiang Mai for three days and had a fantastic experience. The reception girl was incredibly nice and helpful, ensuring I had everything I needed during my stay. The bed was clean and comfortable, providing a great night's sleep. The bathroom and toilet were also very clean, which was important to me. The hostel even provided a kitchen area with biscuits, coffee, and tea, which was a nice touch. Additionally, I had the female sharing room all to myself, which was a unique advantage. They also provided lockers in the room for added security. I had a wonderful time at the hostel and would highly recommend it.

I had such a great stay at this 4-star hotel-quality hostel! The design of the hostel is beautiful, from the moment I arrived at the front door. The check-in process was quick and easy, and the receptionist was friendly and helpful in providing recommendations for nearby attractions and events. I stayed in the female dorm, which had comfortable beds with fluffy, white linens and towels. I appreciated the self-locking locker, hand towel, bath towel, and even a bottle of water provided. The hostel was incredibly clean, and the shower amenities smelled amazing. Plus, I was pleasantly surprised to have the entire dorm to myself.
The only minor issue was the lack of hand soap in the ladies washroom. Some people might also find the hostel to be too quiet, but I enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere.
